Who’s behind the idea of “Ink & Wheels”?
Me (Mariza Seita) and my boyfriend Marco (he sells the motorcycles ).
When this idea was born?
2 years ago! We were so young !
Tattoos and Motorcycles…a pefect combination, please explain your choice.
The idea was born because I’m a tattoo artist and my boyfriend always worked with old motorcycles.. when I get off the studio where I was working and decide to start my own business I suggest to Marco to sell the retro motorcycles and to open his own business too.
50% of costumers that come to get tattoos with me like they love the Moto world and his costumers like the tattoo world so wee thought that was a “very good marriage”!
What kind of Tattoos you realize?
American traditional and some neo-traditional.

What are your main sources of Inspiration for your work?
Sailor jerry its a classic… but we have nowadays very good american traditional tattooers and I’m always checking their work to get better and better !!!
What is the current trend, what are the most popular themes?
Flowers…. but minimalist ones .
In traditional tattoos the anchors and roses!
Let’s talk about motorcycles: are you inspired by the Moto culture for your work?
We sell new motorcycles so when the costumers buy a bike we customize according with what the costumer asks for.
The most part of motorcycles that we sell are 125cc and usually it’s the first bike for the buyer .
What about the local Moto scene?
Here, as now it happens in all Europe, everyone is looking for Café-Racers and Scramblers old or new old classics. A law of five years ago allows cars drivers with more than 25 years to ride motorcycles up to 125cc. This has created a boom in sales also because in Lisbon is more and more difficult to drive a car.
